FAQ
What is Real Time Risk Solutions (RTRS)?
RTRS is a cloud-based safety, compliance, and risk-management platform used by companies in construction, healthcare, manufacturing, and other high-risk industries to streamline reporting, training, claims and analytics in one place.
What problems does RTRS solve?
RTRS eliminates paper forms, reduces administrative time, improves visibility into jobsite safety, and helps companies proactively manage incidents, claims and compliance through real-time data and dashboards.
How is RTRS different from other safety software?
RTRS offers a fully customisable and multi-tenant platform that integrates forms, observations, toolbox talks, claims and training – all feeding into dashboards and AI-powered analytics that provide actionable insights.
What types of forms can be built in RTRS?
You can create and deploy any mobile form – inspections, audits, daily reports, incident investigations, claims data, or custom forms – without any coding. All forms are instantly available on iOS, Android and web.
Does RTRS work offline?
Yes. Field users can complete reports offline, and data automatically syncs when an internet connection is restored.
Can we customize our categories, questions, and workflows?
Absolutely. Companies can tailor categories, questions, scoring systems, and routing workflows to match their internal processes and compliance frameworks.
Does the platform support multimedia attachments?
Yes. Users can attach photos, PowerPoints, videos, and voice notes directly to forms or observations, making it easier to document field conditions.
Can RTRS handle Certificates of Insurance (COIs)?
Yes. The upcoming COI module lets you drag and drop certificates for automatic OCR extraction of up to 50 insurance types, making it easy to verify coverage across contractors and vendors.
What’s included in the upcoming Claims Module?
The Claims Module ingests loss-run data (PDF or Excel), standardizes it, and generates AI-driven dashboards so clients can analyze claims trends, causes, and costs. The module also allows users to analyze specific groups of claims by categories for real-time reporting.
Does RTRS integrate with other systems?
Yes. RTRS supports API integrations for data exchange with ERP, HR, insurance, and project management platforms. Clients can also set up service accounts for self-service API access.
Can we export our data?
All data can be exported to Excel, PDF, or accessed via API. Bulk export options are available for forms, observations, and training records.
How does RTRS plan to incorporate AI?
AI will be used to summarize data, identify patterns in incidents or claims, and provide proactive recommendations. AI agents will be rolled out across 15 areas of the platform for real-time data analysis in the next few months. No data is used for training and each extract run is immediately deleted from a database. The AI agent will have guardrails established that will ensure that only information that is generated on the platform will be used for analysis and not for any nefarious reasons.
How are employee trainings managed?
RTRS includes a Training Module for tracking completions, certificates, and expirations. It now supports responsive screens for mobile use and auto-removal of deleted or expired trainings.
Can we track toolbox talks?
Yes. Supervisors can record attendance, attach photos, and capture electronic signatures for toolbox talks, with automatic logging to each employee’s profile. One of the features that differentiates the platform is that clients can post a QR code in which anyone with a smartphone can click on the QR code, sign their own device and prove that they are trained on that topic.
How do observations work?
Supervisors can perform jobsite observations using customizable templates that can be assigned to people inside and outside the organization. Each observation can have issue-resolution settings for approval or rejection, creating accountability and measurable improvement.
What kind of analytics are available?
RTRS provides hundreds of dashboards for activity tracking, compliance rates, leading indicators, claims data, and user performance. In addition, each company's Stewardship Report gives clients a snapshot of program engagement across all modules.
Can clients create their own dashboards?
Not currently but it's on our immediate road map and should be rolled out the next few months. RTRS PRO users can leverage dashboards and AI-powered analysis tools to create customized visualizations and KPIs.
Is the platform secure?
Yes. RTRS is SOC 2 certified and aligns with ISO 27017, NIST CSF, and GDPR frameworks. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
Where is data hosted?
RTRS runs on Microsoft Azure, leveraging its global infrastructure for uptime, scalability, and compliance with regional data regulations.
How long does implementation take?
Typical deployments take 1-2 weeks depending on complexity. RTRS provides onboarding support, admin training, and optional custom configuration services.
Is there user training?
Yes. RTRS offers onboarding sessions, tutorials, and ongoing support. We also provide client-specific user guides and access to our knowledge base.
What kind of customer support do you provide?
Clients receive dedicated account management, live chat, and email support. Priority support is available for PRO accounts.
How is RTRS priced?
Pricing is based on the number of active users and modules selected. Enterprise and multi-year discounts are available.
What is the return on investment (ROI)?
Clients typically see a 200–400% ROI in the first 12 months through reduced administrative time, improved safety scores, and lower insurance premiums due to better compliance and documentation.
What’s next for RTRS?
RTRS is expanding AI integrations, enhancing claims analytics, and releasing modules like COI automation and API-based data pipelines. Future updates will further automate reporting, training, and risk analysis.
